Welcome the new season with clay and creativity. In this hands on workshop, you will design and build your own sculptural wall mounted planter, a piece that turns plants into living art. Think modern, organic, and quietly beautiful… the kind of piece that instantly makes a room feel alive. You will start by sketching your planter shape and learning how to build strong, elegant forms using slab and handbuilding techniques. From there, you will add texture, carve details, and shape a planting pocket that is both functional and sculptural. Each planter will be approximately **8 inches wide**, giving you a beautiful medium sized piece that makes a statement without overwhelming a wall. This workshop is designed for all levels, whether you are brand new to clay or already taking classes at Artsy Beast. Participants must be **18 or older** to register. Once your piece is built, it will be fired and finished with the glaze of your choice from a curated selection of spring inspired colors. When it is ready, you will have a one of a kind wall planter designed to hold trailing ivy, herbs, or any small plant that brings you joy. This is the kind of piece people ask about when they walk into your home… and you get to say, “I made that.” All materials, firing, and glazing are included. Workshop fee is $125 Just come ready to get a little messy and make something beautiful.
Cancelation Policy
Refunds and Cancellations Kids Classes: Missed classes due to failure to attend, planned absences, minor illnesses, or vacations will not be credited for future classes. All class dates are posted for your review and convenience during the booking process. Adult Classes: Each student is allowed 2 make-up sessions per 8-week session. These make-ups can be used for any missed class during the session. All make-up sessions must be completed within the same 8-week session and cannot carry over unless express permission is given. For instructions on how to make-up a class, please see the Attendance Policies page on the site (under "More"). Additional time in the studio can always be scheduled for an Open Studio for $35 a session. Workshops: No refunds will be given for missed one-time classes or workshops, regardless of reason. Summer Camps: Cancellation must be received in writing via email to info@artsybeast.com 4 weeks or 20 work days before the session begins. All: Classes are subject to change if the minimum student quota isn't met (5 students). Refund or a Credit (minus $30 cancellation fee due to credit card fees) is given for requests received one week before the start of a session by emailing info@artsybeast.com. No refunds will be given after a multi-week class has begun. Class fees are non-transferable and non-refundable.
