Service Description
This studio workshop focuses on creating a refined ceramic charcuterie board shaped by hand and guided by principles of form, balance, and surface. Working from a slab of clay, you’ll learn how to introduce subtle movement, lift, and dimension so the final piece feels intentional and composed rather than flat. We’ll refine edges, consider proportion, and shape each board so it reads as both functional object and sculptural serving piece. The process is calm and highly guided. No prior clay experience is required. Attention is placed on thoughtful construction and clean finishing so each board feels elevated and quietly expressive. After the workshop, pieces will be professionally glazed in a food safe finish and kiln fired at the studio. The finished work is designed for serving and gathering, something that naturally finds its place at the center of a table. This workshop is personally led by Melina Selimbegovic and reflects the Artsy Beast approach to craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and functional beauty.
