Create Holiday Ornaments Together: A Hands-On Family Clay Workshop | Fridays, 4:30–5:30 PM
Service Description
Create something special together in this one-and-a-half-hour clay ornament workshop designed for kids and their grown-ups. This workshop is best enjoyed as a grown-up and child pair, working side by side to create and decorate handmade clay ornaments using seasonal shapes, textures, stamps, and simple handbuilding techniques. Our instructor will guide you through the process, and no prior pottery experience is needed. Each registration includes enough clay to create four ornaments. A grown-up and child may share one registration and make four ornaments together, or each may book their own registration to create up to eight ornaments between them. We suggest this workshop for ages 5 and older, but parents are welcome to bring younger children and explore the clay together at their own pace. Once the workshop is complete, we take care of the rest. Your ornaments will be dried, bisque fired, glazed, and glaze fired in the studio. Finished ornaments will be ready for pickup approximately three weeks after the workshop. Please note: Work not picked up within three months will be considered a donation to the studio.
Cancelation Policy
Refunds and Cancellations Kids Classes: Missed classes due to failure to attend, planned absences, minor illnesses, or vacations will not be credited for future classes. All class dates are posted for your review and convenience during the booking process. Adult Classes: Each student is allowed 2 make-up sessions per 8-week session. These make-ups can be used for any missed class during the session. All make-up sessions must be completed within the same 8-week session and cannot carry over unless express permission is given. For instructions on how to make-up a class, please see the Attendance Policies page on the site (under "More"). Additional time in the studio can always be scheduled for an Open Studio for $35 a session. Workshops: No refunds will be given for missed one-time classes or workshops, regardless of reason. Summer Camps: Cancellation must be received in writing via email to info@artsybeast.com 4 weeks or 20 work days before the session begins. All: Classes are subject to change if the minimum student quota isn't met (5 students). Refund or a Credit (minus $30 cancellation fee due to credit card fees) is given for requests received one week before the start of a session by emailing info@artsybeast.com. No refunds will be given after a multi-week class has begun. Class fees are non-transferable and non-refundable.
