Create Your Own Mug: A Hands-On Pottery Workshop
Service Description
Join us for a two-hour mug making workshop where you’ll handbuild and personalize your own clay mug, made to be used and enjoyed every day. Our instructor will guide you step by step through the handbuilding process. You can add texture, carve patterns, use stamps, or keep your design clean and simple. No prior pottery experience is necessary. Each registration includes materials to create one ceramic mug. Once the workshop is complete, we take care of the rest. Your mug will be dried, bisque fired, glazed, and glaze fired in the studio so it is food-safe and ready to use. Finished mugs will be ready for pickup approximately three weeks after the workshop. Participants must be 18 or older to register. Please note: Finished work must be picked up within two months. Work not picked up after two months will be considered a donation to the studio.
Cancelation Policy
Refunds and Cancellations Kids Classes: Missed classes due to failure to attend, planned absences, minor illnesses, or vacations will not be credited for future classes. All class dates are posted for your review and convenience during the booking process. Adult Classes: Each student is allowed 2 make-up sessions per 8-week session. These make-ups can be used for any missed class during the session. All make-up sessions must be completed within the same 8-week session and cannot carry over unless express permission is given. For instructions on how to make-up a class, please see the Attendance Policies page on the site (under "More"). Additional time in the studio can always be scheduled for an Open Studio for $35 a session. Workshops: No refunds will be given for missed one-time classes or workshops, regardless of reason. Summer Camps: Cancellation must be received in writing via email to info@artsybeast.com 4 weeks or 20 work days before the session begins. All: Classes are subject to change if the minimum student quota isn't met (5 students). Refund or a Credit (minus $30 cancellation fee due to credit card fees) is given for requests received one week before the start of a session by emailing info@artsybeast.com. No refunds will be given after a multi-week class has begun. Class fees are non-transferable and non-refundable.
