**Valentine’s Sgraffito Workshop: Create Your Love-Inspired Masterpiece** Celebrate love and creativity this Valentine’s season by joining us for an immersive Sgraffito workshop with a romantic twist! This centuries-old pottery technique, originating in 6th-century Italy, involves layering a glaze or slip on pottery, letting it dry, and then using carving tools to reveal the base color beneath with intricate, hand-crafted designs. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore surface carving techniques and craft a beautiful, Valentine’s-themed 8-inch round plate with a charming pink base. Choose from love-inspired designs like hearts, roses, cupids, or create your own unique motif to express your artistic vision. Our expert instructors will guide you step by step as you bring your creation to life. The studio will oversee the drying, bisque firing, and glaze firing process to ensure your plate is finished to perfection. Your one-of-a-kind creation will be ready for pick-up in approximately three weeks, just in time to brighten your home or make a heartfelt gift for someone special. This workshop is open to participants aged 18 and above. Cancelation Policy
Refunds and Cancellations: Classes are subject to change if the minimum student quota isn't met (4 students). Refund or a Credit (minus $30 cancellation fee due to credit card fees) is given for requests received one week before the start of a session by emailing info@artsybeast.com. Class fees are non-transferable and non-refundable. No refunds will be given for missed one-time classes or workshops, regardless of reason.
