Service Description
Instructor: Miles Greenblat We keep the class at a maximum of 10 persons ensuring more participation, more individual attention, and greater communication between the instructor and students. Students will develop foundations of pinching, coiling and slab building. The class will cover the basics of the pottery process for beginners, and allow for further instruction of those who come with experience. Once registered into the class, students will be automatically enrolled going forward; In other words, our existing students keep their spot until they need to step away from their handbuilding with clay practice. Enrollment will be billed every 8 weeks. When ready, students need simply email us at info@artsybeast.com to pause their enrollment. Each student will have a dedicated 30 x 14 inch shelf for their work, access to studio glazes and pottery tools, receive bisque and glaze firings, and a new 25 pound bag of clay with each new Session, or every 8 weeks. Ceramic projects greater than 8 cubic inches will have an additional charge of .03 cents per cubic inch. The minimum age to register for this class is 18 years old. **ceramic pieces not picked up within 3 months are considered a donation to the studio.**
Cancelation Policy
Attendance Policy Each student is allowed 2 make-up sessions per 8-week session. These make-ups can be used for any missed class during the session. All make-up sessions must be completed within the same 8-week session and cannot carry over unless express permission is given. For instructions on how to make-up a class, please log in to check the corresponding page in your Member's Area section of the site. Additional time in the studio can always be scheduled for an Open Studio for $35 a session. ________________________________________ This policy ensures that all students have a fair and clear process to make up missed classes while maintaining the structure of the course. Refunds and Cancellations Classes are subject to change if the minimum student quota isn't met (5 students). Refund or a Credit (minus $30 cancellation fee due to credit card fees) is given for requests received one week before the start of a session by emailing info@artsybeast.com. No refunds will be given after a multi-week class has begun. Class fees are non-transferable and non-refundable. No refunds will be given for missed one-time classes or workshops, regardless of reason.
